Team leader
Professor Wasim Saman, Director of Research, ISST PhD, Master of Science, Bachelor of Science
Wasim Saman has a considerable track record in developing and implementing sustainable systems and technologies including solar and energy efficient heating and cooling systems and solar lights. He led the development and implementation of a methodology for evaluating and reducing energy use in new housing developments. He also led the research project to validate heating and cooling energy requirements predicted by AccuRate energy rating software. He is currently involved in developing a new energy rating tool for Australian and New Zealand housing and is a Chief Investigator of NATHERS Peak load Research.
